Digital assets are of fundamental importance to the bottom-line of companies around the world, regardless of industry. These information assets – including intellectual property, proprietary, employee and customer data – present both opportunities and operational risks. Through the Technology Law Dispatch, we will share updates and observations on practical issues impacting the industry, from product and technology development legal trends and litigation, to a discussion of the operational and compliance issues that practitioners deal with every day – in short, a regular report on the legal and business news involving data protection and privacy and security, information governance, intellectual property, social media, and other types of information technology.
